Australia’s South West Wellness Tourism Strategy

Australia’s South West unveiled their Wellness Tourism Strategy in June 2024, positioning the region as a leader in nature-based wellness travel. The strategy capitalises on the regions existing strengths: stunning natural landscapes, pristine beaches, and a strong focus on sustainable practices to attract a rapidly growing market of travellers seeking to reconnect with themselves and the environment.

Destination Wellbeing was the project lead and delivered a gap analysis, wellness tourism strategy, industry toolkit and marketing strategy as part of the project.

Australia’s South West Brand Project

Australia’s South West, the Regional Tourism Organisation representing the area from Bunbury to Bremer Bay, launched it’s new brand platform ‘Dream Deeper’ in September 2024.

This strategic rebranding aims to bring together the region’s tourism industry and appeal to visitors seeking depth and authenticity in their travels. The new brand capitalises on the success of Western Australia’s overarching state brand, aligning seamlessly with ‘Walking On A Dream’ and leveraging powerful marketing reach while introducing distinctive elements that celebrate the South West’s unique offering.

Destination Wellbeing was the project lead and developed the brand alongside Australia’s South West, Tourism WA and creative agency, The Brand Agency.
